Welcome to the new indieSpring
Welcome (back?) to indieSpring!
We're excited to roll out the new website, with a platform change from the fantastic wordpress to drupal. We've focussed on some pretty smart functionality, including a downloadable store ready for our first game chainWorks. We also have the installation tied into our beta system, and our project management system over on unfuddle.
chainWorks Video
We're releasing another glimpse at chainWorks as we continue to work on the game! This run through we've put in place some new GUIs (still not complete!) and made a couple of other changes across the board. Unfortunatly this only shows level one which is all red fireworks but be assured plenty of colour will be creeping into later levels!
Bon Voyage!
At the start of the month, our coder and overall team leader Rob set off for a round the world trip with his partner Eleanor. From the rest of indieSpring stuck back at home, we very enviously wish them both a safe journey and look forward to their return in early June.
For a completly non game related, yet highly interesting read you can track Rob's progress from www.backpackgeek.com

chainWorks Under Construction
After the positive response we received following the release of the Alpha 1 video, we at IndieSpring are pleased to announce the completion of the first 3 levels of chainWorks. Although they may be awaiting the final animations and backdrop, these levels are now ready for play testing and balancing.
More to come soon...

Chainworks on Vimeo
The finishing touches are currently being made to the first of many Chainworks videos. So stand back, and prepare yourself for the show!
chainWorks Approaching
We're edging closer to releasing a demo version of chainWorks which will feature a 5 minute play though highlighting the basic mechanics. This should be released in the next couple of weeks.
Exciting times!
chainWorks Prototype Sprint
chainWorks is our quick, fun, 2D puzzle game inspired by games like Fantavision, Boom Boom Rocket, Geometry Wars and Guitar Hero. Looking to blur the line between hardcore and casual, the title is fast paced, action packed and explosive. It's been in development for a long while, but we're turning a new leaf and beginning development again using the latest Torque Game Builder.
indieSpring Launches
Revamped and repurposed,
indieSpring.net is now purely a portal for our game studio. For those new here, Rob used to use indieSpring as his personal blog, but as the studio has grown and become more involved with 3rd parties, we've taken the decision to boot him out. You can find Rob's blog over at http://www.timeextend.com/.
indieSpring is a group of young, inspired game developers from across the world who have come together to deliver compelling and innovative game titles to the world.
