Retron Update and Competition!
Wow. Just Wow. A year since our last post.
Retron is coming on strong! Video I posted up from a few weeks back :
We're hedging our bets on submitting this for judicial review a week today so it'll be the app store for the holiday season! yay
Fluttr Butter
With the new Fluttr update finished it's now time to spread the word! Tonight i will be typing up a fancy new game description that should do our first title justice.

Fluttr now on iPhone
indieSpring studio’s first commercial title is now available on the iPhone app store worldwide!
Fluttr tasks you with saving a butterfly from an explosive end by sweeping aside flowers, poking away bees and pinning up spiders. Easy to pick up and play, with quick, fun gameplay paced gently in a unique artistic setting.
What's indieSpring fresh?
Well,
Already it's been a while since we last blogged our process. We've spent a lot of time thinking about our projects, strengths, goals and ambitions and plotted out a funny corkboard of paper bits:

The quality is none too great, but the plan is there, and we have a whole host of ideas and games we want to make off the back of our first : Fluttr.
Fluttr Released
It's been an enormously long time since I posted up a decent blog. After about 5 years of various ideas, projects, games, websites, domains, plans, people and thoughts I finally shipped my first ever game (barring an old mod for unreal tournament).
Oooh it's close now! Fluttr for iPhone
Tonight we'll be uploading the Fluttr release for PC and Mac to all of our beta testers! Score uploading is over for now (until v1.1!) and the gauntlet for our joyous flutterby has been determined. Our best efforts so far give us a score of 2400!
indieSpring Week [Day One]
At indieSpring we have lots of ideas about new games and projects. In fact, we have so many, the difficulty is in completing any of them to a high enough standard to release. I decided it was high time that changed, so I've taken one week off work to concentrate on indieSpring and our two current projects - chainWorks and Fluttr.
Flutterby is now called Fluttr!
We've renamed Flutterby to Fluttr as it seems someone else has already made a game called Flutterby!
I've added a video below to show you the evolving art style for the game and a new feature : bees!
Flutterby Prototype
Flutterby is a simple, fun game we've developed to understand the promotion and distribution of a product across several platforms.
Flutterby's star protagonist is the beautiful Butterfly who strives only to flutter aimlessly through a world of abstract flowers. Being so delicate and fragile, she is hampered by the dense nature of this under growth, her beauty smashing at the slightest contact with any obstacle.
You are charged with helping Butterfly, moving flowers out of the way, holding back branches and letting her progress unimpeded.
Flutterby is suitable for anyone of any age to play and enjoy.
